Ashley J.

Ashley J. is an experienced urban planner with a strong background in policy and community engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Berkeley since September 2022, Ashley previously held roles as a Principal Planner for the Town of Moraga and an Associate Planner in various capacities within the City of Berkeley and City of Vallejo. Earlier experience includes managing business development for Off the Grid Services, LLC, and overseeing income and asset development programs at the Urban Strategies Council. Ashley has also contributed to community engagement efforts for the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities/Nexus Community Partners and has authored significant publications during a graduate assistantship at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Ashley holds a Master of Urban Planning with a focus on Economic Development from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Resource Economics and Political Science from the University of New Hampshire.
