Icma-Cm James Bennett

James Bennett, ICMA-CM, serves as the City Manager for the City of Biddeford, Maine, and holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Public Policy at the University of Southern Maine. With extensive experience in municipal management, Bennett has also worked as a Senior Consultant for Municipal Resources, Inc. and previously served as President of the International City/County Management Association. Bennett's career includes roles as City Manager in Presque Isle and City Administrator in both Lewiston and Westbrook, as well as Town Manager positions in Old Orchard Beach and New Gloucester. Bennett holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine, as well as an Associate of Science in Accounting from Bentley University.
