Jamie Verbrugge

Jamie Verbrugge serves as the City Manager for the City of Bloomington, MN, since February 2015, focusing on community development. Verbrugge has been a Public Address Announcer for the University of Minnesota's Athletics Department since November 1988, contributing to multiple sports events. In addition, Verbrugge holds board positions with Bloomington Minnesota Travel & Tourism, GLOBAL SYNERGY GROUP, and previously with Minnesota USA Expo 2027 and Artistry MN, alongside being a member of various professional organizations including ICMA and MCMA. Verbrugge also held the role of Past President at the Bloomington Noon Rotary Club between July 2021 and June 2022. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Hamline University and a BA in History and Political Science from St. Cloud State University.
