Erin George, AICP has extensive work experience in the field of community development and planning. Erin is currently working as the Deputy Director of Community Development at the City of Bozeman. Prior to this role, they held various positions at the City of Kent, Washington, including Current Planning Manager, Principal Planner, Senior Planner, and Planner. In these roles, they supervised staff, managed operations, and worked on both current and long-range planning projects. Erin also volunteered as a panelist for the Urban Design Studio at the University of Washington Tacoma and served as the Pierce County Representative for the American Planning Association. Additionally, they have volunteered for the Kent Wellness Committee and the Kent Giving Campaign. Erin's early career included an internship as a Wetlands & Data Management Intern at the Montana Department of Environmental Quality.

Erin George, AICP holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies with a Community Focus and a minor in Anthropology from Carroll College. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they have obtained certifications including AICP Certified from the American Institute of Certified Planners in July 2010, and they are also a part of the American Institute of Certified Planners from the American Planning Association. Furthermore, Erin George completed the King County Leadership Academy in November 2014.
