David Leonard

David Leonard is a seasoned professional in environmental services with extensive experience in wastewater management and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Environmental Services for the City of Brewer since May 2023, David previously held the position of Compliance Control/Office Manager within the same department. As a Wastewater Circuit Rider for the Maine Rural Water Association from June 2021 to June 2022, David provided vital support to small Maine communities in handling wastewater needs, including instruction and infrastructure inspections. David's prior roles include Superintendent at Veazie Sewer District and Senior Associate at Super Shoes (H.H. Brown). David holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of Maine, earned between 2000 and 2004.
