John Swiecki, AICP has extensive work experience in the field of urban planning. John started their career as an Associate Planner in San Diego County in 1984, where they worked until 1987. From 1987 to 2005, they held the position of Principal Planner in the City of Riverside. In 2005, they joined the City of Brisbane as the Community Development Director, a role they currently hold.

John Swiecki, AICP completed their Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Science from the University of California, Riverside in the years 1980 to 1984.
