Julia Ayres has extensive experience in urban planning, currently serving as Principal Planner for the City of Brisbane, California, since December 2014, after advancing through roles from Associate Planner to Senior Planner. Prior to this, Julia worked for the City of Larkspur for over five years as an Assistant Planner and Contract Planner, focusing on the General Plan Update and SMART Station Area Plan. Julia also held internships in the planning departments of both the City of San Rafael and the City of Larkspur, contributing to housing element updates. Earlier experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant at UC Santa Cruz Student Health Center.
