P.eng Amy Choh

Amy Choh, P.Eng, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of transportation planning and engineering. Amy currently holds the position of Director Engineering Transportation at the City of Burnaby, where they oversee various transportation projects. Before that, they served as the Assistant Director, Engineering - Transportation Services at the same organization. Prior to joining the City of Burnaby, Amy worked at Binnie as the Division Manager of Transportation Planning and as a Senior Project Manager / Staff Manager. Amy also held the position of Senior Engineer in Transportation Planning at WSP. In addition, they worked as a Project Manager in Transportation Planning at WSP MMM Group. Earlier in their career, Amy served as a Senior Transportation Engineer at the City of Vancouver and as a Traffic Operations Engineer at the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure. Amy also worked on transportation planning for the 2010 Olympics and served as a Highway Design Consultant Liaison Engineer. Amy has a strong background in traffic and safety engineering, with experience as a Traffic Engineer at the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation. Amy holds professional certifications as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Amy Choh, P.Eng, PMP obtained a Certificate in Foundations in Public Participation - Planning and Techniques for Effective Public Participation from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) in 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia in 2000.

In addition to their education, Amy Choh also holds certifications as a Professional Engineer from Engineers and Geoscientists BC, obtained in May 2000, and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
