Matt Sturgeon

Matt Sturgeon currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Centennial, a position held since June 2017. Prior to this role, Matt Sturgeon held various positions including City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and Planning Director at the City of Rifle from April 2002 to June 2017. Matt Sturgeon’s career began at Pueblo County, Colorado, from 1995 to 2002 as a Senior Planner, focusing on long-range and current planning projects. Matt Sturgeon earned a degree in Political Science from UC Irvine and furthered education at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and the Harvard Kennedy School.
