John Tauber

John Tauber has extensive experience in both animal control and healthcare administration. Currently, John serves as an Animal Control Officer for the City of Clifton, a position held since May 2001. Prior to this role, John was the Executive Director at The Center For Special Surgery at Hawthorne from January 1993 to February 2018, managing a single-room ambulatory surgery center with a focus on Podiatry, Gastroenterology, and Urology. Additionally, John served as the Executive Director of Foot and Ankle Management Services from March 1991 to February 2002, overseeing the network of podiatrists and handling billing, insurance negotiations, and provider selection. Earlier in John's career, John's role as Assistant VP of Operations at NBO Stores from June 1974 to December 1990 involved troubleshooting, cost reduction, and planning for new store openings and renovations. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from Seton Hall University, obtained between 1974 and 1978.
