Ben Bryner has a strong background in community development and planning. Ben started their career as a Planner with the City of Southlake, Texas in 2001 and later became a Senior Planner. In 2008, they joined the City of Abilene, Texas as a Development Services Manager. Most recently, they served as the Community Development Director for the City of Colleyville, TX, starting in 2016.
Ben Bryner obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Planning & Resource Management from Brigham Young University in the years 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a Master of Public Administration degree at The University of Texas at Arlington from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Ben has also obtained certifications in Certified Public Manager (CPM) from Texas Tech University and the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) from the American Planning Association.
