Melanie Lowry

Melanie Lowry is an accomplished Senior Public Information Officer for Capital Improvement Projects at the City of Corpus Christi, a position held since April 2020 after joining in November 2019. Prior to this role, Melanie worked as the Marketing & Events Coordinator at the Education Service Center, Region 2, from November 2017 to November 2019, where responsibilities included promoting workshops and collaborating with local businesses to enhance community events. Melanie's extensive experience in event management and public relations is further highlighted by a tenure at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi from April 2006 to September 2017 as the Spirit Coordinator, overseeing large-scale events, coordinating with media, and managing game operations. Melanie holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
