Bob Turk

Bob Turk has extensive experience in economic development, currently serving as the Economic Development Director for the City of Sanford since June 2013 and as the Economic Development Manager for the City of DeLand since April 2009. Previous roles include leadership positions such as Chairman of the Board for the World Affairs Council of Central Florida and Board President for the World Affairs Council in 2010. Bob Turk has held various director and management roles in organizations focused on business development, including positions with Maximize Management, International Council of Central Florida, and the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center. Educationally, Bob Turk holds a BLA in Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida and has additional coursework from Lipscomb University.
