Brian Freeman

Brian Freeman is currently the Deputy Chief Information Officer at the City of Des Moines, where Brian is responsible for drafting a comprehensive enterprise data and analytics strategy for all city departments. Prior to this role, Brian held positions at Corteva, DuPont Pioneer, USDA-ARS, and Iowa State University, where Brian demonstrated their expertise in data management, team leadership, and software development. With a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Life Science, Brian has a strong educational background to support their extensive experience in the field.
