Matt Baumgardner, P.E., currently serves as the Director of Public Works and City Engineer for the City of Downey since May 2023. Matt holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
