Brandon Brown

Brandon Brown has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and data management. Brandon started their career as a GIS Programmer at Lucas County, Ohio in 1999 and later worked as a GIS Programmer/Analyst at Livingston County, Michigan in 2003. In these roles, they gained skills in problem solving, business analysis, project management, coding, data analysis, and solution design.

In 2003, Brandon joined the City of Dublin, Ohio, where they held various positions over the years. Brandon served as the GIS Administrator from 2003 to 2017, managing the city's geospatial and broader data architecture and analysis efforts. Additionally, they worked across all levels of the organization to implement effective technology solutions.

In 2018, Brandon took on the role of Data Manager at the City of Dublin, where they were responsible for managing and organizing the city's data assets. Brandon then became the Director of Performance Analytics in 2020, leading the city's data analytics and GIS teams to support operational functions and continuous improvement efforts. Brandon also managed a cross-functional team and collaborated with senior leaders to enhance service delivery through data analysis.

Currently, Brandon holds the position of Interim Director of Information Technology at the City of Dublin, where they lead the day-to-day operations of the technology team. Brandon is also involved in reimagining the role and services of technology for the future.

Throughout their career, Brandon has demonstrated expertise in information technology, data management, GIS, and continuous improvement.

Brandon Brown completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Ohio University in 1998. Brandon then pursued a Master's degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati from 1996 to 1998. Prior to their Master's degree, they also obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Ohio University, which they completed in 1996. Additionally, in 2017, Brandon obtained certification as an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the ASQ - World Headquarters.
