Ashley Kimpton

Ashley Kimpton, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as Budget Manager for the City of Dunedin since September 2014. In this role, Ashley oversees current year budgets citywide, collaborating with various departments to address and resolve budget issues. Previous positions include Senior Accountant and Interim Accounting Manager at the City of Dunedin, where responsibilities encompassed managing accounts payable and receivable and preparing the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). Ashley's earlier experience includes staff accountant roles at the Diocese of St. Petersburg, specializing in bank reconciliations and month-end closings, and bookkeeping for multiple companies, where tax processing and financial reporting were key duties. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a Financial Concentration from the University of North Carolina Asheville and an Associate of Arts from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
