Melanie Zipp

Melanie Zipp has over 19 years of experience in public administration, currently serving as the Chief of Staff and City Clerk for the City of Fairfax since August 2004. In this role, Melanie Zipp has also acted as a legislative liaison and FOIA officer. Prior to this position, Melanie Zipp was the City Clerk and Clerk to the City Council for the City of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, from 2002 to 2004 and held the role of Administrative Services Coordinator. Melanie Zipp holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Local Government from George Mason University, earned between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
