Doug Hewett

Doug Hewett is the current City Manager at City of Fayetteville. Doug has also served as the City Manager of Hollywood and the Assistant City Manager of Fayetteville, North Carolina. In addition, they have taught graduate level public administration courses as an adjunct faculty at Webster University. Doug Hewett has a passion for public service and has dedicated their career to making a difference in the lives of others. Doug is a strong leader with a proven track record of success in city management.

Doug Hewett has a diverse educational background that includes a BA in Political Science from North Carolina State University, an MPA in Public Administration from North Carolina State University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Doug also has a certification from the ICMA in ICMA Credentialed Manager.
