Yedukondalu (YK) Chalamcherla is an experienced professional with a strong background in public sector IT management and leadership. Currently serving as Vice Mayor for the City of Folsom since December 2020, YK also founded and leads AVATAR IT Solutions, Inc., focusing on public sector clients. With over 27 years of experience, including significant roles such as Chief of Medi-Cal Applications Development & Support at the California Department of Health Care Services and Chief of Statewide Data Conversions and Interfaces for the FI$Cal Project, YK has demonstrated expertise in application systems enhancements, data migration, and health care IT projects. YK's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, complemented by various professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, and CSM.
