Grace Boda

Grace Boda is a Human Resources Analyst at City of Grand Rapids. Grace has over 10 years of experience in the Human Resources field.

Grace began their career as a Native American Affairs in the State of Michigan. Grace then transitioned into the private sector as a Human Resources Assistant with Notions Marketing. After a year with Notions Marketing, they took a position as an RPO Recruiter with EG Workforce Solutions where they were responsible for developing and executing recruiting plans, establishing and maintaining relationships with organizations, and conducting background checks and job offers.

In their current role as a Human Resources Analyst with the City of Grand Rapids, Grace is responsible for various human resources functions including but not limited to policy development, benefits administration, recruitment and employee relations.

Grace Boda has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business, with a focus in management. Grace also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) from Grand Valley State University in psychology. Grace is certified as a Professional - Human Resource (IPMA-CP) from the INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION FOR HR.

Grace Boda works with Derrius Gibbs - Office Assistant I, Holly Young - Training and Organizational Manager, and Ken Deering - Labor Relations Manager. Their manager is Desireé Foster, Human Resources Director.
