Kevin Carpenter

Kevin Carpenter is the Information Technology Manager at the City of Grand Rapids. Kevin has over 18 years of experience in the IT field. Kevin started their career in 2000 as a Computer Analyst with Northrop Grumman. There they were responsible for PC support and deployment, as well as developing strategies for police patrol laptop installations and support. In 2008, Kevin left Northrop Grumman to become a Public Safety Application Developer with EMA. There they were responsible for FileMaker Database development and support for the Grand Rapids Police Departments field reporting and records management solution, as well as Microsoft office suite support and PC support and deployment. Kevin has been with the City of Grand Rapids since 2009 and has been responsible for managing the city's IT infrastructure and operations.

Kevin Carpenter received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration from Davenport University.
