Amanda Fischer

Amanda Fischer is an experienced Human Resources professional with a comprehensive background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director for the City of Grandview since January 2021, Amanda leads HR initiatives in a diverse and growing community. Prior to this role, Amanda was the Human Resources Manager at AGC Glass Company North America, where contributions were made to various organizational development teams. Amanda's earlier career includes significant positions at PAR Electrical Contractors, Inc., providing HR leadership for a large workforce, and Rinchem, offering HR support across multiple countries. Amanda's experience also includes managerial roles in human resources and safety at Griffin Wheel Company and Price Brothers, as well as early roles in generalist HR at Sealy. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from William Jewell College.
