Jeffrey George

City Councilman at City of Hattiesburg

Jeffrey George began their work experience in 2009 as a Crew Supervisor at LCO Building Maintenance Co. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at The University of Southern Mississippi in various roles, including Graduate Assistant, Undergraduate Assistant, President of the Student Government Association, and Student Recruiter. In 2015, they interned at the United States Senate. In 2018, they joined Rozier Construction as the Director of Marketing and Business Development until 2020. Currently, they serve as a Development Project Manager at RM Development Group, where they manage projects, coordinates the work of architects and consultants, and communicates with construction teams on various client requests. Additionally, they worked as the City Council President for the City of Hattiesburg since 2017.

Jeffrey George received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Southern Mississippi, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Jeffrey then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Economic Development (E.D.) from the same university from 2016 to 2017.
