System Chief Human Resources Officer at City of Hope

Joline Treanor is the system chief human resources officer at City of Hope, where she is focused on creating an engaging workplace while ensuring that City of Hope has key strategies in place to accelerate a culture of performance excellence and continuous improvement. In addition, she spearheads the overall people and talent strategies and organizational development plans to attract, develop and retain top talent.

An accomplished executive with a depth of knowledge and experience in human resources, strategy, operations, and technology, Treanor previously served as executive VP of people & culture, at PeaceHealth, a $4 billion nonprofit health system offering care in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. Treanor also served as the executive VP and chief HR officer for Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, senior VP and chief HR officer for St. Joseph Health System in Irvine, California, and as a director at Deloitte Consulting in Los Angeles, where she provided advisory services to some of the largest and most complex companies in the world.

Treanor holds a master’s degree in educational technology and adult learning theory, as well as a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology from San Diego State University in California. She has served on several of nonprofit community boards.
