Lisa Varon, M.A., CPCC, ACC has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lisa is currently working as a Housing Manager for the City of Irvine since September 2021. Prior to that, Lisa worked as a Leadership and Life Coach for their own coaching business, Lisa Varon Coaching, starting from January 2019.

From March 2019 to September 2021, Lisa served as Vice President in the Los Angeles office of BAE URBAN ECONOMICS INC, where they supervised the office and provided real estate advisory, urban planning, and economic analysis services to public sector clients. Joint development, affordable housing, and public real estate disposition were specialties of the firm.

Before that, Lisa worked for the City of Santa Monica in various roles. From 2014 to 2019, they served as a Senior Development Analyst in the Housing and Economic Development department, where they led and monitored affordable housing initiatives. Lisa managed Citywide Housing Trust Fund Loans, established policies and procedures, collaborated with developers, and played a role in the development of housing policies. Lisa also worked as a Senior Administrative Analyst in the Community and Cultural Services department from 2011 to 2014, overseeing budgeting, revenues, expenses, and contracts for the Cultural Affairs Division. Lisa Varon, M.A., CPCC, ACC has a strong educational background in both Urban Planning and English Literature. Lisa earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1993. Following that, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Urban Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, completing their studies from 2001 to 2003.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lisa Varon has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. Lisa obtained the Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) designation from the Co-Active Training Institute in November 2019. Furthermore, they received the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coaching Federation in March 2021.
