Sean Crumby

Sean Crumby has extensive work experience in various roles within the public works and engineering sectors. Sean most recently worked as the Director of Project Delivery and Sustainability at the City of Irvine starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Public Works at the City of Huntington Beach from August 2020 to April 2023, where they managed a department of 207 employees and oversaw the planning, construction, operations, and maintenance of the city's infrastructure.

Before their role at Huntington Beach, Sean served as the Deputy General Manager of Engineering at the Long Beach Water Department from August 2018 to August 2020, managing the engineering function for the department's capital improvement programs. Sean also held the position of Bureau Manager of Engineering at Long Beach Energy Resources from August 2018 to August 2020.

From August 2015 to August 2018, Sean worked as the Deputy Director of Public Works/City Engineer at the City of Long Beach, responsible for managing the Engineering Bureau and delivering a capital improvement program.
