Charles Willis has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Charles started their career in 1985 as a Communications Network Officer in the United States Marine Corps, where they gained expertise in telecommunications systems network management. Charles then worked at McDonald's Corporation as an Assistant Manager for a year before joining ANTIOCH UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST in 2004 as a Minister of Music. At ANTIOCH UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, they managed and developed the musical department, supervised music with ministerial staff, and organized equipment supply. In 2011, Charles took on the role of Musical Director, writer, psalmist, and pianist in Jacksonville, NC. Finally, in 2012, they became an Information Technology Specialist at Onslow County Schools, where they currently work.

Charles Willis has a diverse education history. Charles began their academic journey by earning an Associates degree in Information Systems from Coastal Carolina Community College, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Concurrently, they pursued an Associates of Science degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology at COASTAL CAROLINA COMMUNITY COLLEGE from 2010 to 2011.

Prior to their time at Coastal Carolina Community College, Charles attended Craven Community College from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.

Before their college education, Charles graduated from Northeast High School in 1985, obtaining a High School Diploma with a focus on Physical Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Charles is currently working on obtaining the Security+ certification from Comp TIA. The specific completion date for this certification is not provided.
