Sipho Mtshali has extensive experience in fire safety and quality management, currently serving as a Quality Specialist at the City of Johannesburg since December 2007, where earlier roles included Station Commander Fire. Prior to this, Sipho worked at Eskom Matla Power Station as a Fire Safety Officer from May 1999 to November 2007 and held a similar position at Sentrachem Newcastle from October 1992 to May 1999. Additionally, Sipho began a career in fire services at the City of Johannesburg as a Leading Fireman from February 1984 to October 1992. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting and Quality Management from the University of Tshwane and Johannesburg University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting earned at Tshwane University of Technology. Early education was completed at Musi High School.
