Ryan Lipp

Ryan Lipp is an experienced planning professional with a diverse background in urban planning and engineering. Currently serving as an Engineering Technician and FOG Coordinator for the City of Kannapolis since May 2019, Ryan has previously held positions as a Senior Planner at the Town of Matthews and as a Planner at the Town of Indian Trail, where responsibilities included implementing comprehensive plans and reviewing development proposals. Additionally, Ryan has experience as a Planning Technician focused on processing permits and providing customer service. Academic credentials include two Bachelor's Degrees in Geography with a concentration in Urban Planning and German Language from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Complementing professional expertise, Ryan also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in environmental planning and urban transportation courses.
