Stephen Kepley

Stephen Kepley has served as the Mayor of Kentwood since February 2003, overseeing day-to-day city operations alongside Chiefs and Department Directors, and engaging in various city commissions and boards. Stephen's prior experience includes managing infrastructure and special capital improvement projects as the City Engineer and Building Official. Before their tenure at the City of Kentwood, Stephen worked at Contech Construction Products Inc. from June 1988 to February 2003, advancing from Associate Sales Engineer to Regional Sales Engineer with a focus on bridge replacements. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Virginia Tech, earned between 1984 and 1988.
