Keith Bruner CBO has a strong background in building and inspection work. Keith started their career in 1979 as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. In 1990, they became the Public Works Director for the Town of Surgoinsville TN, where they served until 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as the Building Official/Fire Marshal for the City of Church Hill, TN. In 1998, they joined the City of Kingsport and held various roles, including Master Building Inspector and Chief Building Official until present. Additionally, in 2015, they served as the President of the Tennessee Building Officials Association.
