Michael Throne, PE, QSD/QSP has extensive work experience in the field of civil engineering and public works. Michael currently serves as the Director of Public Works/City Engineer for the City of La Mesa, CA. Prior to this role, they worked as a Civil Engineering Consultant at Throne Civil Engineering. Michael also has experience as the Co-Owner of Throne Family Ranch, an apple farming and agri-tourism business.

Throughout their career, Michael has held various positions in the public sector. Michael furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from California State University - East Bay.

In terms of certifications, Michael Throne earned the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Developer (QSD) and Practitioner (QSP) certifications from the State of California in August 2017.
