Belinda Ann Deines

Belinda Ann Deines is an experienced urban planning professional currently serving as the Community Development Manager at the City of La Palma since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Planner and Senior Planner at the City of Dana Point from October 2016 to December 2023, and various planning positions at the City of Laguna Beach from April 2010 to October 2016. Belinda began a career in community development as a Community Development Intern at the City of Bell Gardens from September 2008 to April 2010. Academically, Belinda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Planning, and Political Science from UC San Diego, a Master of Public Administration specializing in Public Works Administration from California State University, Long Beach, a Professional Certificate in Advanced Public Engagement for Local Government from Pepperdine University School of Public Policy, and a Certificate in Leadership Development for Public Agencies from California State University, Fullerton.
