Christopher Buurman

Christopher Buurman is a seasoned professional with diverse experience spanning over two decades in technical consultancy, accounting, and assurance roles. Currently serving as a Technical Consultant at FH BLACK since September 2022, Christopher also holds an ongoing position as an Accountant with the City of La Vista since November 2019. Previous roles include Senior Assurance Associate at RSM US LLP and Journeyman Lineman positions with both KBR Rural Public Power District and the City of Valentine. Christopher began a career in technical fields as a Journeyman Electrician at Ward Plumbing & Heating and served as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force, specializing in Combat Communications. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Peru State College and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Mid-Plains Community College.
