Hans Shepherd is a seasoned professional in community and economic development, currently serving as a Senior Community Planner for the City of Lacey since January 2022. Prior experience includes project management and planning roles at SCJ Alliance, where Hans worked from April 2016 to January 2022, and a leadership position at the City of Olympia's Community Planning and Development department from February 2013 to April 2016. Early career experiences include sales management at Trek Bicycle and an internship focused on design and planning with On Broadway Inc. Hans holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Transportation Planning from the University of Washington and a double Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Planning and Environmental Policy & Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
