Anita Dickey, SPHR, SCP has an extensive background in human resources, with over 24 years of experience in various roles. Anita is currently the Director of Human Resources for the City of Lee's Summit. Prior to this, they served as the HR Director for The Gerson Companies from 2015 to 2018. Anita also worked as an HR Operations Manager - Benefits/Wellness at Westar Energy from 2011 to 2018.

Throughout their career, Anita has held multiple leadership positions, including serving on the SHRM Board as the Director of the Workforce Readiness Committee from 2009 to 2014. Anita has demonstrated their expertise in human resources management by working as an HR Manager for the City of Olathe Kansas from 2006 to 2011, as well as a Manager of Global Benefits at Black & Veatch from 2010 to 2011. Anita has also worked in human resources roles at Farmland, Sunflower Group, Wellmark, and Engineering Animation earlier in their career.

Anita Dickey, SPHR, SCP completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Upper Iowa University in 1990. Prior to that, they attended Northwest Missouri State University from 1978 to 1980, focusing on Communication.
