Carl Walker

Carl Walker has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Carl currently holds the position of Strategic Technology Advisor at both the Police Digital Service and the City of London Police, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Architect at the City of London Corporation from March 2023.

From March 2021 to May 2023, Carl worked for Microsoft as the Public Safety & National Security CTO. Before that, they were the Chief Architect at both the City of London Corporation and the City of London Police from June 2019 to November 2021.

In their earlier career, Carl held the role of Managing Director at Flex Magazine UK and Muscle & Fitness from November 2017 to November 2018. Carl also served as the IT Director at BodyPower Expo from October 2015 to November 2018.

Carl's career began at McKesson, where they worked as the Chief Infrastructure Architect from January 2009 to January 2015.

Carl Walker attended Caludon Castle from 1996 to 2000. Carl did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 2021, Carl obtained a certification from The Open Group's TOGAF® Certification Program.
