Preston Sellers

Director Of Human Services at City of Lynchburg

Preston Sellers has extensive work experience in both the public sector and military. Preston started their career in the United States Army in 1983 and served for 24 years until 2007. In 2008, they joined the City of Lynchburg, where they held various roles in the Human Services department. Preston started as a Benefit Programs Specialist and worked their way up to Benefit Programs Supervisor. In 2018, they became the Benefit Programs Manager, and most recently, in September 2021, they were appointed as the Director of Human Services for the City of Lynchburg.

Preston Sellers pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from National University between 2021 and 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Sociology from American Military University. Additionally, Preston also earned an Associate's degree in Individual Studies from Jefferson Community College.
