Tyler Eaton

Tyler Eaton is a seasoned urban planner with extensive experience in coastal city planning, currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Malibu since January 2018, where responsibilities include reviewing development projects for compliance with a Local Coastal Program certified by the California Coastal Commission. Previous roles at the City of Malibu include Associate Planner, Assistant Planner, and Planning Technician, alongside a Planning Intern position. Prior to municipal planning, Tyler held the role of Assistant Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch, successfully leading a store to exceed quarterly sales goals and focusing on hiring and training customer service associates. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both obtained from California State University, Northridge.
