Adam Tegen

Adam Tegen has extensive experience in community development, currently serving as the Community Development Director for the City of Manitowoc since October 2019. Previously, Adam held the position of Director of Community Development for the City of Wisconsin Rapids from September 2010 to October 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing building and code enforcement inspectors and providing zoning, planning, and economic development services. Adam also served as the Director of Planning & Economic Development in Wisconsin Rapids, managing various departments related to planning and zoning. Earlier in their career, Adam was the Planning Director for Belvidere and Boone County from June 2005 to August 2010 and held the role of Associate Planner from April 2001 to June 2004. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, earned between 1995 and 2000.
