Laurie Meyer

Laurie Meyer has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Margate since January 2019. Prior to this role, Laurie held the same position at Sandy Pines Hospital for a brief period in 2018 and served as Assistant Director of Human Resources & Administrative Services for the City of Oakland Park from July 2016 to August 2018. Laurie's earlier experience includes a significant tenure as Director of Human Resources at Lifespace Communities, Inc. (The Waterford) from November 2007 to July 2016, and prior to that, a leadership role in human resources at South County Mental Health Center from 2004 to 2007. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Human Resources Development & Administration from Barry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Gannon University.
