Anthony Prado

Anthony Prado is an experienced Fire Captain at the City of Marina since January 2020 and has been part of the Marina Fire Department since June 2007, serving as a Firefighter/Engineer with responsibilities including fire engine operation, water pump operations, firefighting activities, and serving as a Safety Officer. Prior to a career in firefighting, Anthony held various technical roles in the IT field, including Website Administration Engineer for EDS/DMDC/DoD between March 2006 and July 2009, and Oracle Application Server Admin for Electronic Data Systems. Earlier experience includes positions at Cisco Systems Inc. as a Customer Service Engineer from 2000 to March 2006. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications, Multimedia, and Applied Computing from California State University, Monterey Bay, obtained in 2000.
