Mup Guido Persicone

Guido Persicone, MUP, AICP has extensive work experience in various planning and development roles. Guido is currently serving as the Community Development Director for the City of Marina, where they manage a team of ten and oversees multiple development projects including the Sea Haven, Dunes, and Marina Station Projects. Prior to this, Guido worked as the Planning Services Director for the City of Los Altos, where they processed the city's first SB 330 project and managed a staff of six. Guido also held the position of Planning Director for the City of East Palo Alto, where they managed a team of six and oversaw a portfolio of 300 Below Market Rate units, as well as the General Plan and Zoning Code Update. Additionally, Guido has experience as an Associate Planner for a land use consultant, where they provided consulting services to Belmont and Daly City, processed permits, and managed mixed-use projects. Guido also worked as an Associate Planner for the City of East Palo Alto, where they managed various planning projects including the East Palo Alto Housing Element update and the processing of conditional use permits. Prior to their planning career, Guido served as a Legal Specialist in the California Army National Guard. Overall, Guido Persicone brings a wealth of experience in planning, development, and project management to their roles.

Guido Persicone, MUP, AICP, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, from 1996 to 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Urban Planning at San Jose State University from 2005 to 2008.
