Ryan Waller

Ryan J. Waller is an experienced municipal manager currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Marion, Iowa since November 2021. Prior to this role, Waller held the position of City Manager for the City of Indianola from January 2016 to November 2021 and worked as Assistant County Administrator for Lake County from January 2011 to January 2016. Waller also served as Assistant Village Administrator for the Village of Lake Bluff and as Assistant to the City Manager and Administrative Intern for the City of Highland Park. Waller's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Iowa, a Master's in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University, completion of the Senior Executive Institute at the University of Virginia, and participation in Drake University's Signature Executive Leadership Program.
