Eric Chan

Eric Chan, P.Eng., PMP, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Transportation for the City of Markham, overseeing strategic leadership in transportation initiatives to promote sustainable communities. With previous experience as the Manager of Transportation Planning at the Town of Oakville and the Manager of Area Transportation Planning for the City of Toronto, Eric has led significant projects such as Transportation Master Plans and Neighbourhood Mobility Plans. Eric's prior roles also include the Manager of Transportation Engineering for the Town of Caledon and various positions at the Region of Peel, where responsibilities encompassed transportation planning, engineering, and project management of critical transportation studies. Eric holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and has completed Toastmasters International's Competent Communication program.
