Karina Unruh (Siliverstova)

Karina Unruh (Siliverstova) is a seasoned environmental professional with a focus on freshwater ecology and natural resources. Currently serving as a Surface Water Specialist for the City of Marysville, WA since October 2022, Karina has accumulated significant experience as a Natural Resources Technician for Skagit County from September 2019 to October 2022, and as Biologist II at the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife between December 2018 and July 2019. Earlier roles include Engineering Technician IV for Snohomish County and a Habitat Intern with Snohomish County Surface Water Management. Karina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a Freshwater Ecology emphasis from Western Washington University and is pursuing an Associate's Degree in Natural Resources Marine Biology from the Ocean Research College Academy at Everett Community College.
