Eric Ferreira

Eric Ferreira is a seasoned law enforcement professional currently serving as Police Captain for the City of Methuen since July 2012, with prior experience as a Police Lieutenant. Eric possesses a strong military background as Sergeant Major of Marines with the United States Marine Forces Reserve from January 2002 to April 2024. Recent experience includes an internship at the U.S. District Courts under Honorable Magistrate Judge Donald Cabell, where skills in legal research and analysis are being refined. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Law (JD) from New England Law | Boston, a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Graduate Certificate in Security Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
