Jayne Discenza

Jayne Discenza is a seasoned budget and evaluation analyst currently serving as the Principal Budget & Evaluation Analyst for the City of Minneapolis since May 2019, with an interim role as Budget Manager in Summer 2023. Jayne's expertise includes strategizing the implementation of consent decrees, advising on the Public Safety portfolio, and managing a $367 million budget across multiple departments. Jayne has a strong background in policy analysis and financial forecasting, having transformed the budget reporting process into an interactive online format. Previous roles include Senior Budget and Evaluation Analyst at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and various internships in governmental and non-profit organizations. Jayne holds a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Macalester College.
