Leigh Ratterman

Leigh Ratterman is an accomplished professional specializing in sustainability, climate action, and mental health promotion. Currently serving as a Climate Action Specialist for the City of Missoula since May 2021, Ratterman previously held roles as Zero Waste Systems Manager at Home Resource and Mental Health Promotion and Prevention Coordinator at New Directions Northwest Inc, where efforts focused on mental health education and bullying prevention in local schools. Earlier experience includes positions as a Sustainability Specialist with Boulder County, where Ratterman worked on Zero Waste policies, and as a Community Campaigns Coordinator at Eco-Cycle, coordinating community initiatives. Ratterman began a career in education and development at Devereux Glenholme School and has also worked in veterinary care and the beauty industry. Ratterman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Central Connecticut State University.
